Mercy Corps
Mercy Corps is a global humanitarian and development organization that helps people facing poverty, disaster, conflict, and climate change in over 40 countries, providing aid and long-term solutions to improve lives in vulnerable communities. Mercy Corps is known for its innovative approach, combining emergency relief with long-term development to create lasting impact.
Some of its key efforts include:
• Disaster Response: Providing immediate assistance during emergencies like natural disasters, conflicts, or epidemics.
• Economic Development: Helping people rebuild livelihoods through job training, financial services, and market access.
• Peacebuilding: Working in conflict zones to promote reconciliation and peace by fostering cooperation and understanding between divided communities.

My Role
During my time at HUB Collective, I was responsible for creating a series of educational videos and flyers for Mercy Corps, aimed at communities in regions vulnerable to hurricane damage – to raise awareness and provide critical information to help residents prepare for and respond to hurricanes effectively.
